Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actor and performer whose performance variety earned her acclaim across a range of genres ranging from period drama to action and thriller. Johansson grew up living in New York City as the daughter an architect and a production company. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. She developed an interest in acting from a very young age, and began auditioning for commercials at age seven. After a short time, she began studying with the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. In the years following there was a Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. When she was eight, she appeared alongside Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry, and at nine she made her debut in film as Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson made her debut on screen in Just Cause (1996), but she was Manny & Lo 1996 that made her famous. The film tells the story of two girls orphaned by their parents who are running away. The film, The Horse Whisperer, Johansson played a teenage victim of an horrific crash. In Ghost World, her role Ghost World brought her more fame as the outcast teen Rebecca. In addition to appearing in the show, she also has a successful stage actor. Her fame is based on her exceptional roles in stage plays like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith entered the realm of entertainment at a very early age. When she was a kid, she was attracted to performing.
